We've been building with React Native for seven years, and we're more convinced than ever that it's the right choice for most mobile app projects.
The new architecture
React Native's new architecture fixes many of the problems developers used to run into with the framework. Fabric gives it a more responsive UI layer and TurboModules load native modules faster, while Codegen keeps types consistent between JavaScript and native code.
Real-world benefits
Because one codebase covers both iOS and Android, our clients get to market sooner and don't have to pay for two separate development teams. Maintenance is simpler as well, since each update ships to both platforms at the same time. The finished apps feel native to use and don't behave like a website wrapped in an app.
When to choose native
React Native isn't always the answer. Apps that need the newest platform features or maximum performance, such as 3D games, are still better built natively. For most business applications, React Native gives a high-quality result at a fraction of the cost.
